mike freqrider I don't know? I'd imagine not as displacement change is significant. Despite the name, I believe the 916SPS should have a 996cc engine.
freqrider mike ahh, ok. Haven't really researched much yet. A friend needs an eprom for his project and asked me if I had the bin to burn for him. I do have the 996 SPS EPROMS but they both had P8? I thought 996 was p16? Maybe I'm thinking 998? I only know 888. Lol.
Mr.R The 916SPS had a 996cc motor as did the 996SPS. The 916SP had a 916cc motor and the 916SPA had a 955cc motor.
Mr.R freqrider 916 Strada, 916SP, 916SPA, 916SPS and 996SPS all had P8 ECU's as standard. The base model 916/996 Bip's and the 996S had the 1.6M ecu's. Steve R
