So today I pulled the rear wheel, and a few other bits and pieces.
The rear wheel is the same as the front one in that when it was re-powdercoated, they haven't masked off the parts where the brake disc bolts to it, so I'll have to sand all that off too.
Someone has forgotten to do the sprocket nuts up at some stage and they have chewed the side out of the swing arm, which has been patched with some kind of resin stuff???
Took the exhaust headers right off so I can get the rear shock out to strip and clean it, and make sure it is ok, as the heat shield on the rear header pipe is missing and the lower half of the shock looks pretty oily and greasy, so I won't be surprised if the seals are shot.
How does the shock link come out?? I've undone it's mounting / pivot bolt, but it refuses to budge. There doesn't look to be a sleeve going through it and the frame mounts either side??
All the bolts holding the subframe on, the ECU to the plastic tray, and the oil cooler on, are cut down disasters. I'm getting sick to death of this shit. At this rate 75% of the bolts on the bike will end up in the bin.
Should hopefully get the swing arm and shock out tomorrow.
