Mike, I am not sure whether the above words are a 'pop' at somebody or not and it does not matter for what I am about to say...here goes.
What happened to Nocaster will happen again to somebody else in another scenario due to the lack of honour, morals and greed amongst humans, which causes paranoia and fear, not solely due to the crooks in this world.
I have seen and experienced first hand what happens when something appears that several people are after and have found, despite being first in showing interest informing others and trying to negotiate a deal, one person still approached the seller to try and cut me out!
Now, I can't be bothered to have sour grapes about the deal, as I believe what goes around comes around and I don't wish to stoop so low in the way that I conduct myself.
However as a consequence of this if I am in the position of finding a real 'gem', then I am reluctant to let others know to avoid the previous scenario again. This fear and paranoia can lead to somebody purchasing blind, they fear telling somebody else and making enquiries incase it makes others aware of what is for sale.
This is what scammers prey on so that they can get away with a bit of money on the sly...sometimes an awfull lot of money.
So if I find a cheap Corsa or bevel 750 roundcase, then I will hit the forum and get everyones help and guidance before I purchase...I think we shall have to wait and see! 😎
Do I trust my dog in the same room as my dinner if I have to leave the pair together for 15 minutes...thankfully I haven't a dog otherwise if he had, he'd be my dinner! 😁
