If this's OK and you're going to anodise them, my preferred colour would be Black.

On the penciled in rev limit, I'd always thought it was at 12.5K, I bet that 100 rpm less extended the service intervals no end! 😁

OK. Yes I will anodize them I'm going to do mine clear like the originals but can certainly do yours black.
The originals have rivet-nuts in them but I'm putting wellnuts in mine to bolt to the fairing. Any thoughts?

If i can crack the tacho open and pop a nice Corse logo over the Laverda stuff I think its good value at 20 quid on ebay.
Wish i knew how to get it open without breaking it tho

If you go to the back side of the black bezel retaining ring with a smallish flat blade screw driver and pry, going around and around, prying a little at a time, around, around. Then switch to a larger flat blade screw and repeat, going around carefully many times you can open it up enough to pull the ring off.
After you've had your way with it put it back together, lay it face down on a non marring surface and reverse the procedure, around and around a little at a time. I've done it successfully several times.

Over here in the UK it's an offence to 'Clock' the vehicle (Clocking is winding back the mileage)....

Have you ever dealt in 2nd hand Bikes/motors (cars)?????
If so I must remind myself 'Not to buy one from you'. 😉 😁

I wasn't advocating clocking it!! 😁
Here I believe it's only illegal if you sell the vehicle without disclosing "actual" mileage. There is a sentence on our titles to that fact which you must sign stating whether it is actual mileage or not.

I'm thinking about making the small triangular brackets that mount the front upper fairing too (for myself at least, anybody else?) I can take pics of the original if interested.

I have the dash and brackets drawn. I'm going to the Lazer cutting firm this coming Tuesday to get a price on cutting them. I'll let everyone know the outcome.

OK, I got a price quote from the lazer cutting firm for cutting the dash panel and the triangular brackets.
The dash panel will cost me $32.00 each, .090" 5052 Alum.
The triangular brackets, $9.00 each, .090" 5052 aluminum.

The originals are made of .100" but not available so .090" will have to do.

I am putting wel-nuts in my brackets but can put the original type riv-nuts in if wanted. I believe wel-nuts are a better solution.

I will have to have the money up front as I have not been able to work for 3 months=no cash reserve. PM me if you are still interested. Sorry, I can't add any to the list.

I'm sorry to hear times have been tougher than usual for you, at times like this I find it's always best to look forward as they'll usually get better!

Hi Steve,
I'm still waiting to hear from two of the people who wanted them so we'll wait just a bit. The price I was quoted was for 8 dash panels and about 20 of the triangles. I suspect that the price per each will be slightly higher if there are only five or 6. I haven't entered in the price of riv-nuts ($1.00 ea.) or Wel-nuts. I'm bending the dash panels/triangles/anodizing at no charge.
