So, i better wait and see if i will ever be able to find/use an SP front subframe/airbox.. Just thought I would ask.

You may be looking at this backwards. The corse dash is needed if you use the X air runners as the stock dash won't fit, and there is essentially no front subframe on a corse bike.(upper windscreen fairing attached to the triangular brackets which are attached to the x air runner). Look at the pics that I posted of Mark's SP2 in the Gallery section.
p.s. Obviously a corse bike won't have a headlight! I'm assuming that Mark fabricated some of the bracketry to mount a headlight in his SP2 so he can ride it on the street.
