OK,
this project is called the quattrostrada because I really like the Multistrada, but for several reasons I won't just sell the 851 and buy one.
1) I still love the old girl. Most important reason, actually.
2) I'm not into originality at all, each bike should be a reflection of her owner. My bikes are always feminine, btw.
3) Getting on myself (almost 41yrs old), I would appreciate a less racy driving position. I'm aware much older people don't care about that, and some even think it's supposed to be like that, I do care. To each their own, etc...
This first pic is step 1 in the proces of creating a touring version of the 851/888.
Next step will be installing a monster handlebar, altering the front fairing to do so and creating something to carry GIVI cases (whether 1 topbox or 2 side ones).
