FWIW, I don't use any "host" for my pics. I keep them myself. I use a generic program like Paint or photoshop. Cut them down in pixels and save them on a thumbstick or external hard drive. Not on your puter to clutter it up. If you are afraid thay a thumbstick may fail (it happens), put them on two different thumbsticks. It's easy to post them on the Forum. Just hit "manage attachments" , download them from where they are stored..

nine16 wroteIt's not broken, I trimmed the tab because the reservoirs mounted to the underside of the triples I had for the Showas. There were little cutouts and the tabs had to be modified. I can replace the reservoirs for cosmetic reasons, but it's not really a priority.

Vacationing down south right now. A few shots from Key West, some nice machines at Moto Corse Performance (Chris Boy's shop), and stopped at Ace Cafe Orlando on the way down a couple nights ago.

Recapping the trip, after Moto Corse Performance, I hit the Florida Keys for a few days and then headed back north (err...only option). In North Carolina I stopped at Marvin's to pick up another project and then over to Mark Turczyn's for a couple hours of ogling his incredible Corse machines. Finally, a few days of real riding Deal's Gap/Tail of the Dragon/Cherohala Skyway.

I few months ago Reno Leoni messaged me about the bike. For some reason I wasn't able to upload images at the time. Anyway, we've had a few nice conversations and I learned a bit more of the bike's history (winning Battle of the Twins at Daytona). And I think it's awesome that Reno texts like he speaks. Now that's flavor.

I also move into the new place and took a couple group photos of the bikes. Yes, I keep them inside and yes, I am single.

Still months away from riding season...

In the meantime, at least I got to wrench on the bike this weekend--wired up the front signals (Motogadget Blaze Pin are very bright) and replaced another set of bullet connectors with superseals. Also put the billet rear caliper on. Oh, and previously I got the stickers and the CF fuel cap on.

Some recent work to the bike. I trimmed and mounted a carbon fiber belly pan. I had the original Adamo carbon fiber hugger refurbished. Now it's UV protected and I'm sure it looks better than it ever did. The left side carbon fairing is now trimmed so the steering damper could go back on. Did some little stuff too, like replacing gauge bulbs.

Now I'm on vacation to the Deal's Gap/Cherohala Skyway/Tail of the Dragon area with a few of the bikes and I've taken a few shots so far. I've shot some video on a new Insta360 One X, but haven't edited it yet.

You're pretty brave to ride the Dragon with all of those squids !

Go up to 74, go towards Asheville and ride 28 down to Franklin. Then head west (64 I think) and take Wayah rd, back to 74 (watch out for gravel and unmarked pickup trucks !) Take a right on 74 and go through all of the rafting folks and back to Deals Gap.

You can get on Wayah rd. a few miles West of Franklin. It will be on your right. Also you can stay on 28 all the way to Georga. Great road around Highlands and after Highlands to Georga. War woman rd off of 28 (quite a ways south of Highlands) is also pretty good. Heads West towards Clayton. Around Clayton the Richard Russell Parkway is good.

FWIW, I haven't ridden the dragon for at least 10 years ! Too many squids and Harvey Diddlesons. If you get behind a Harley parade you will know what I mean ! The Cherohala is nice though.

Hi Marvin! Yeah, I've only done TOD once each way so far, and that's because I was connecting from the Cherohala to the Foothills Parkway (the new section of the Foothills is outstanding, btw). I was thinking of heading down 68 to Ducktown this morning. I believe I hit some of those roads you mentioned last year, though that's a big loop from Tellico and as I recall, 64 was a drone.

Saturday I'll be in Suches. Maybe I'll take that way back.

Yes, 64 is a drone !! Lots of great roads down there without riding the Dragon !!

28 is one of my favorites ! It's kind of boring for a few miles around Franklin but really great South of 74 and from a few miles North of Highlands all the way to Ga.

There is a little road close (right on the corner by the gas station) to the campground at Suches that is great but has bitten many a rider!

p.s. We have a Rally out of Murphy in the Fall (US Desmo) . I rode my 851 over on 64. Got so bored I was going well over 100 mph most of the way. When I got near Murphy there was a Highway Patroman waiting for me. Luckily I had just slowed down too get gas and he could do nothing because it was all hear say! Lucked out on that one !!

I've done the roads around Suches several times with Erv. Bar none, my favorite road anywhere is coming up Blood Mountain from the south.

Btw, I've been meaning to ask you--how the hell do you get your bikes from your garage down to the paved road???
