The shakedown on Sunday was good--a few minor things. I even managed to make the switch to race shift pattern without much trouble. I did forget to mount the mirror, which made me paranoid. The headlight is extremely bright, which I have a plan for.
Both the plates and the breather filter are temporary.
Tonight I managed to hopefully sort the fuel drip once and for all, installed the carbon fiber handlebars, and made a simple aluminum piece to attach the fairings at the belly with dzus fasteners. Titanium dzus, of course, because steel is for sucks. And I robbed the Ohlins damper off my NSR250 (which didn't need it anyway) and put it to better use here.
I picked up a ram mount and a Garmin GPS with satellite speedometer. ("Yes officer. I DO know how fast I was going.") I'll get that wired Thursday night and install the correct CF undertail breather box. After that, I think it's ready to load for Texas.
