I'm currently machining front and rear spindles made with TI, for my next 926 project ...
Roland was surprised and confirmed that the WSBK regulations in early 90's, didn't accept TI on bikes, due to the higher rate of sparks , compare with steel and then open to immediate firing with fuel on the asphalt, in case of falls !!!

Mechanics concerned by the past with Ducati "Works" bikes used to signed with red stamped letters and figures. Roland made that for me recently ... π
