I have a drawing of the front fairing brackets. Pm me your mailing addy and I will send to you or I guess I could just scan it and email to you.
Marvin
P.S. I just put a scan in the files section.

Thanks Marvin for the drawing. I will probably make my own.
Latest update :
After many trials and head scratching with the routing for the cable harness I,ve decided to route it through the middle of the air ducts. It looks cleaner and means I don,t have to lengthen certain areas of the original cable harness. The negative is I loose a small amount of air (Maybe ?). I will find a rubber plug and silicon it in to seal it up. I,ve also permanently fitted the air duct and the carbon bracket for the instruments.............now she is live. I,ve also trial fitted the fairing so that I know it all fits.

New update
Tyres are on plus the spacers are all made now for the wheels. I have been playing with the exhaust a little and have finally settled on a solution. The photos show the cannisters without the carbon sleeves and un-welded by the front caps. I,ll get it welded ASAP and then it will be finished. I had to wait for the carbon hangers but they look the biz so well worth it. More Titanium bolts have been added and more to come. Just waiting for the larger injection unit and then she will be ready to fire up.

Up and running
Got the larger injection unit off the 1198S engine bikes and tried to fit but it is already a squeeze on the front cylinder so no way without serious mods probably to the frame could I make it fit. The belmouths are so much wider and would foul at the front with the airbox I made but also the frame rail. There would be no room to enclose it as I have now with an airbox. Fitted the old injection unit/airbox and even though the exhaust are not welded up I thought lets try to start it. First prod she fired up , she is loud , very loud but nice , very nice. Airbox and wiring is in for the last time , everything nicely tie wrapped in position and looking good.
I think there is something pretty cool when you can flip up the tank and watch the injection unit working while the bike is running. Why did Ducati stop making flip up tanks from the 916 onwards ???????
More Titanium bolts added.

The exhaust has been welded up and smoothed out and looks good. They have been repacked and the Carbon sleeves added. Noise is amazing.

Lots of little stuff going on. I wired in a LH handlebar switch from a Modern Monster so now I have the mode button all working. Also change over the large heavy battery for a Lithium one and with the brackety I save another 6 Kilos............yes 6 kilos. Now she starts on the button but still needs setting up. I wired in the headlight and got the rear lights working after having to examine various wiring looms and rewiring the connector. Rear brake pressure switch wired in and working. I still cannot find a solution to the neutral light problem. The 1198 engine has a sensor carrying signals to the ECU to tell it which gear it is in so it can adjust the ECU , all I need in a switch for neutral. Sounds simple but the sensor is twice the size and none of the 3 wires creates a simple switch. Maybe it is something I can never get working ...........unless I find a simple neutral switch from another vehicle that fits in the back of the engine .................More Titanium bolts.
Jobs still to do are , headlight bracket , front fairing brackets , rear license plate bracket and rear indicator brackets. Then it is just fitting the fairing (After I carved a whole in the nose fairing for the headlight).

Latest update.
Fairing brackets , headlamp brackets made. Fairing modified for headlamp. Fiddling around with the all the fairing brackets to get the fairing to fit where I want it. Headlamp wired up , side stand switch bypassed just the rear indicators brackets to do and wire in. Seat needs covering and then stickers. Still no solution on the neutral light but I,m working on it. It will go on the dyno in 2 weeks and then we will see what it brings. When the ECU is flashed I can program in any 17 digit display I want on start up............any ideas ?
I was thinking something like DUCATI 119851 SP
Viper1
Wow! I would love to be there if you take it to the track and just smoke other bikes! A true wolf in a sheep's cloths!!!!!

Dyno run
So now the numbers are in as the bike has been on the Dyno at biggelaar Performance.
Healthy numbers @ r/wheel :
166.1 HP @ 9499 rpm (Just shy of a healthy 1198)
139 N/m @ 7865 rpm (9 N/m more than a healthy 1198)
Just look at that wall of torque from 4375 - 5000 rpm where the bike is already making 130 N/m. It looks like the homemade airbox and exhaust are doing their job (Old 851 silencers)
Seat done just the indicators to wire up and tidy up and then fairings on for a test ride before the roads get slippy.
Had the display read DUCATI 119851 SP on start up , looks cool !!!!

As a matter of interest, what is the secret to reprogram the dash?

How did you reprogram the dash display?
dudlington
The dash can be programmed with the correct software to have any 17 digits you want. This is something you cannot do at home and need to know where in the program it sits. Twoine at Biggelaar did mine when he was reprogramming/flashing the dash on the Dyno.

Thanks Dudlington. It was just an idle enquiry.

Just had the complete bike resprayed in the correct Ducati red with some suitable decals applied. Now she is a real wolf in sheeps clothing. Roll on the good weather.
