Speedmade wroteMy motor swap is a real hybrid of stuff. I started with ST4S cases and cylinders. I am using a 916 crankshaft with 996 Carrillo rods and 996 Pistal pistons. The ported heads are from a 996 so I can use all my top end magnesium bits. I have 37/31 valves, "431" intake and "G" exhaust cams.
For the injection I have re-racked a set of 998 throttle bodies and machined them to fit into the 996 intake boots. I got one of Marvin's TPS adapters and I intend to fit a 916 harness with a 16M computer.
Because of the re-positioned TBs, I can use the Sebimoto 888 carbon airbox (also because of Marvin's nifty frame adapters).
Years back I picked up a Ferracci version of the Termignoni Farne header, except it's a little bigger up front. But I can still swap between my reverse cone mufflers and my CF Termi's.
And lucky me, I live in Minneapolis, and I have been friends with Doug for years. So I am very confident I will get my bike to run just right.
Living in Minnesota has to have some perks.

the 998 tps is still non linear, so it'll work with any of the 1.6m eproms. it's the later linear tps that is an issue, because wot is about 4.1v, which is 60 odd degrees on a non linear. so the ecu will think it goes no higher than 60 degrees. duane can fix that in a 1.6m map i think.
finding the small tps connector can be an issue tho. i believe it is the same as the delco crank angle sensor, but have never confirmed that. best to cut one out of an old loom.
