Had to do a couple of things to the bike so new photos

VERY NICE! You should redo the stickers to make it look more authentic. Just my $.02 worth.

Your right I,ve just thought of another thing I would like to do ......... change instruments as the 999 one just does not seem to fit. I need to get over the canbus system however I have hooked up a set of S4RS clocks to it. Everything runs except the speedo and the tacho. I think the tacho needs a feed from one of the pins on the ECU and the speedo needs a direct feed from the connector at the other end of the loom from the speed sensor (Back wheel). Another job Dohhhhhh !!!!!!

Stickers are meant to be different but on the same theme.

O.K. so I thought the project was finished but the 999 instruments were so ugly on the 888 that I had to change them. It now wears a Translogic dash which looks the absolute BIZZ. It took a better man than me to wire it all up and some software (Twoine at Biggelaar) but now it all works and suits the bike 100 times better. He also found I had the crankcase timing sensor off by 1 tooth and now it runs much much better right up to a healthy redline. I spent the weekend modifying a carbon race bracket and painting up some of the fairing brackets black............so I think now she is ready.

Now with Carbon screen and Pig spotter mirrors.

Carbon screen as I am a Carbon whore and Pig spotter type mirrors as riding on the road without mirrors is quite frankly dangerous. A simple solution to an age old problem without ruining the lines of the race bike. Lift your arm and the view is really good. If you look in the mirrors you can clearly see me standing behind the bike taking the photo....................good enough and a lot safer !!!. Went out for a rip on Sunday and wow does she fly..........now she is finished.

My sp4 is my iconic bike for long long time and now loving every minute with it, and was worth waiting for. But this just blows my mind knowing what potential this must have, can not stop looking at it, will try to save as screen saver if that's ok.

To "save" the line of the bike, I put a handlebar tip mirror.😄
(I remove the one at right finally).

I have a better view than in the original cocker ears.😉

It's quite discret...

(I have drilled the two original holes in case I wanted to fit the originals again).

I have it also as my screen saver so I am honored that you would have my bike instead of your own SP4 on your computer. There were times when I thought it might not all come together but all of the hard work was well worth it. I will also give credit to the name of the guy still on the fairings who raced the chassis for a couple of seasons (Albiet with another engine in it) however that race bike was tired and definitely in need of a lot of TLC. Watch out for the 119851 SP that is nearing completion (Does a 1198 go into a 851.............Yes) , now that bike has potential but I think this one will be my favourite.

dudlington wroteAirbox is fed by a massive Carbon Fibre Airbox, fed by 888 carbon runners from the nose. Once the air gets in the box it is fairly well sealed.........simple, seems to do the job. Photos attached.

Just pondering some thing for like this for my project, did you remove the lower diagonal brace.

Does this photo answer your question. This shot was with the previous engine , it now has the bigger 1036 Testerstretta engine in.

Lovely job. I love what you have done. I think you should paint it to look standard SP4, that would really confuse people!
