Got your last email, my wife is going to look into it when she gets back this week, love the bikes and that Mirage is awsome, good and well choosin detail.
I took the mirage out the sunday, have to say front brakes are crap😯 found out master cylinder should not be on bike and only suitable for single brake set up looking for a p15 I think, motor very strong with nice spread of torque, though she needs to go in and be set up correctly as she is only happy with a little choke advanced 5mm. first though, my 888 goes in for starter sprag! and checked over for the summer run to Dubrovnic

Just a few day to go before set of to cartagena for 5 track days.
Just neoprene seat and brackets for the mufflers left to do.
Fibre glass fairing turned out nice after lots of grinding work.

Its a two layer metallic. Silverbase plus coloured clearcoat. The result was a bit darker than i expected but its difficoult to imagine how a little colour sample will look on a complete bike.
I wanted to have it "martini racing" painted but all the striping would have take to much time.
I think they look best with the standard (sp5 tail) but I wanted somthing different on the race fairings.

Absoulutely! Mine looks like this: When I started the modification I did not have the intention to buil show room finish, but those fairings is going too far..

Thats how mine looked too. Had to cut it up and plast together again. Loots of work......

Were did those came from? there is a big ebay seller called ricambi-wess i belive...has any one here has one of this? I have bought mine froam a local fabricator and the side panels and rear mono seat are top quality and he makes carbon fiber and classic fiber (surf boards fiber i belive and ultra light too) but the only bad thing is the time for delivery 😡 and my front faring with no light hole is a bit bad.

Mine came from sebimoto but i tried ricambi also. Both are very bad. No way to match any of those with the original ones.........

I also agree, nice colour Thomas, I previously had another 851 '92 model which I painted exactly the same colour as your 888 track bike! mine got stolen in Turin, Italy, were I live, that was back in 2003.
It had 94000 km on the clock!! 5 spoke golden Marchesinis as yours, a complete spaghetti exhaust system, and an Ohlins shock at the rear. It is quiet weird to find another bike that looks so similar to that one...congratulations, yours looks beatifull too.!
I attach an image of mine when we went to Imola in 2000 or 2001,...I don't remember anymore.

I think Edoardo Vigna is one of the best Ducati tuner. His workshop is located in Cirié near Tourin. You must know him and his creatures, I wrote a lot about them. See web site www.edovignaracing.it but I think you already know him !!!
