Got my new trailer this weekend.
Only 4 weeks untill me and my friends go to Cartagena for a week of trackdays.
Lots of work with both the bike and trailer though....
Made a little wall stand for my forks as well.

I had a set of those wheels on my old 900SS Bevel years ago which had cracks radiating from every disc bolt hole after only a year or two of use...
I also saw a front Campag' wheel hanging from an awning at the Bol D'or in the race paddock one year with all of the spokes completely broken away from the rim.
They were the best in their day and still look good but you couldn't PAY me to sit on a bike fittted with them these days!
It's because of them that to this day I won't have mag wheels on any bike that I own and HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone not to fit mag' wheels to a road bike.

Nice TZ though, I had/owned/raced a Yamsel TZ350 over 30 years ago.

Nice ST. I test rode one when they first came out. I remember vividly...getting back on my 900ss and thinking how archaic the handling was compared to the ST. Later rode an ST4s and again.. loved the handling , read "turn-in" all the time thinking.. if I could just get this bike on the track I could go alot faster thanks to the handling and front-end feedback (compared to the SS).

I know your "don't ban me" was in jest, but I really hope people don't feel that way on this list.. close-minded and only accepting what they deem as ok. I love Ducati's but I also love motorcycles and many have many different things to offer...

The ST2 even comes with a rear Ohlins and was cheap I have to say.
That's 3 in garage now I'd just like a track bike.

I found that bike end of 2007, in very bad body condition but low mileage : 15.250 kms.
I restored the bike for ... Madam !!!

Today, I'm not allowed to ride it ... 😡 😄 😁

Yes they are, although the front is a replica that they have just started to make again in Italy . Its in magnesium like the rear. The rear is the original (I have the front original also but it is 16" so canot find good track tires) and mint condition (no cracks).

I ride a few weekends per year with mine (on the track of course) but would never use these kind of wheels on the road, especially on a heavier bike.

I also have mag wheels on the 748RS which seem good but have been re painted.

I've removed rotors and calipers from my SP.5 to my SS ...
To be honnest, I don't like the design of my cast iron rotors. I've changed for a set of new Brembo (DI.150.IX) and had old design calipers as spares.

Today, I'm in accordance with my new choice but admit the powerful braking with Brembo F.40 pads of my 900 SS !!!

What do you think about ??
