Remquo Thanks guys. I did adjust the TPS with the tie rod disconnected, but set the vacuum at 2000 rpm... Maybe that's what went wrong. Maybe because these technical questions are in "classifieds" some people overlook them. Keep you informed! Remco
griff851 Handy hint 101c. I found that on the linkage between the throttle bodies, if the thread is not too new, when you do up the lock nut it changes the length a bit. My answer was to set the bodies up. Set the length, lock it, then fit it to the bodies. Also a small dab of Silastic on the 'e' clip is not a bad idea! To check if you have contact of both throttle plate position screws I use a cigarette paper under each as a final check. Griff
Remquo Sorry for the delay, but I got the beast running smoothly. I had some problems setting the CO due to a malfunctioning Gunson. Also the throttle linkage showed too much free play. For now I park the bike till next spring.
