Anyone coming to the auto italia day in Bristol his Saturday - I'll be burning the midnight oil Friday with Louigi to fit a new clutch/sort headstock/add some trinkets..the bike will FINALLY be ready for the new season and our meets !

There's a ride-out to Bristol (ride-in?) from Gordano services (M5 J19) at 9.30, turn up from 8.30.

All being well I'll be going with my Guzzi owning mate Glenn.

It seems that we keep picking weekends when members have children etc. so how about second Sunday this month on 12th? 11 am at the castle and Ball pub , Marlborough high street. Quick coffee then a proper ride out to give you guys an idea of some of the best twisties in the area. You know it makes sense !😄

My ride's back on the road following a new clutch + belts (& failed battery, air pressure and air temp sensors as the cherry on top), so the 5th or 12th is ok for me. I'm ok to meet up earlier to make the most of the longer day, so bring on the twisties😎.

Cant make this Sun 5 th (judging a model aeroplane competition) but would be up for the 12 th.

Hi Pompey,

No little girls that weekend so I'll do my best to make it this time,* fingers crossed here it would be nice to finally meet you and the other lads.
If I can make it I'll try and jolt Pablo Pirate to come up as well.

*I could do with a nice little shake down run before the TT. 😁 A trip up the line and a ride out would be well over a 300 miles blast for me.

I think Phil has a point about start time being earlier... as he is coming from Wales why not? All ok with 10am start to ride and if you fancy coffee and cake come sooner? We will put a pitstop for fuel and coffee during the ride as well anyway... comments please😄

yeah know the feeling. Put bike on stand on a very slight slope of my drive (block of wood.. cause I dont like the lean angle) and went to make a coffee...bike did a slow slide down the drive and slipped off the block...crunch...bike at 90 degree lean angle... crap....trashed mirror, bent handlebar, scratched fairing
..thankfully no damage to fuel tank...(Phew)..Have done some filling work on the damage and am well on the way to sorting the damage. (filler rub down and a bit of airbrushing with Humbrol No 19 red (perfect match) should see me right)...Bugger I was pissed off but have rescued the situation. Crap I really can live without this hassle....FUCK I HATE the Ducati side stand....Lord GOD ...please give me strength to endure the pain that is |Ducati ownership 🙁😡

Thanks for flexing the timing Pomps to an earlier start.

Barring side-stand traumas, more failed sensors and any other messages from the Great Ducati God, I'll see you on the 12th.
