Well finally today a good mates come round and done the do for me!
Fill your F'kin boots and I dare anyone not to be impressed with a self modified one owner from new 900SS.
The mudguards, side panels, and fairing are all self made, the guards, side panels in Carbon Fibre as thin as a cheese and onion crisp and the fairing in a very light lay up of GRP, the tanks a one off alloy item made by Terry Baker back in '82 fitted with a magnesium Shaw aircraft filler cap taken from one of Uncle Sams finest fighter jets given in payment for a race engine build by "Texas Joe" from Houston who was a GI at a base in the UK, every fastener is either S/steel or Titanium, Maxton forks, Fournales air shocks as used by the last NCR Endurance racers, hand made tuned length exhausts, 41mm rubber mounted Race Delorto's, twin plug heads, 950cc's,close ratio cluster, straight cut primary gears, hydraulically operated dry clutch conversion, AP Lockheed Brakes/M/cylinder and Mag' clutch M/cylinder, (the last one they ever produced) TZ Yamaha clip ons, TZ 350 throttle, WP steering damper and the list goes on and on and on and on...
It'll pull 80 mph in 1st gear and top out in the high 140's, it also cracked the decibel meter at Snetterton at 113 db's
