I just joined too, have an interest in an 851 at the moment, but here's my SL III, owned 10 years. Was on the road last year and just took the decision to not MOT it this year and use something else instead. So it gets first dibs for it's MOT next year! Once the belts are done!

I had one of those...

For a short time, I was lucky enough to have had both the 888SP4 and 900Superlight V. The superlilight was my first ducati. Shame I couldn't keep both.

I've said it before but that's a stunning bike Pablo, really impressive power and torque graph mate.
It's good to see what one man can make for his dream bike...Top marks!!!
Is that the loooong awaited carbon fairing, if so are you pleased with it and was it worth the wait?

Now where did I stash all those parts to build the 955 or 984 motor? 😉

Yep they are the carbon half fairings - need to get the bike painted now!!

Once rounded off you can have a blast, already got me eye on a set of barrels....mmmh some 98mm pistons, should get the torque right up!!

What's the original bore and stroke of the ST3 motor?

Think the ST3 is the same as the 1000DS - 94 x 71.5mm. Seen an ST3 racer running modded 98mm pistons (Same as the 996 I think, or even the 1100DS) would mean re-boring barrels and modifying the piston crown. Part of me is dreaming but it would be nice to have 90+ torque!

Nudge nudge wink wink - How much for your oppo to do the paint and who did you say for the decals??

Hi Pablo,
It's Image Works for the decals* and I've got the painters number in my wallet now, (he's based in Plymouth) give me a ring and I'll pass it onto you mate.

*If you get them from these people (Highly recommended) let me have them and I'll get them copied for you so you'll have spares/some for your toolbox etc.
The guy who copies them made all the decals on my old 900SS in your garage, have a look at them he did them FOC for me. 😉
