They are and yes, But i failed to find standard 851/888 footrests.

I had the same problem when I built my bike four years ago. I found that the footrest brackets were still available from Ducati, perhaps they still are. Expensive, of course.

I reckon with a bit of modification and a re weld and paint i might be able to mod the SS ones.

Tried various sources and no luck on 888 foot rests.

When my bike was written off last year the '92 851/888 footrest hangers were NLA.
Steve give me a bell and I might be able to help you out mate. 😉
