Hi I'm just putting back together a 1999 888 Strada. Appreciate this is an old post. Is there a current recommended solution for Bodywork fasteners ?

I had the idea of converting to DZEUS fasteners… they're so convenient on the 996.

Is that a thing for the older 888's ?

Any good source I can get from ?

Do the standard 916 / 996 ones fit the older 888s ?

Serjames Pro Bolt do good quality kits. The fairings are fixed with well nuts and bolts with large conical washers ( not sure what they are called). The 916 style Dzus need clips to screw into which would mean some butchering of the fairings and would not look right anyway imho.

Thanks Kev - didn't realise they wouldn't fit. Ok will try and stick with OEM :-) Doing belts and fluids tomorrow, then should be ready for next meetup :-P
