Boy it turned out fanstic! Sure wish I could find some of those CF rearsets for mine!! Well done for sure! Noticed you have a few other nice rides in the background?
Pompey
Thanks Viper, got an unhealthy addiction for early 90's superbikes..😉
Just got my Bimota DB5 back which I have given the cafe racer treatment. All a solid investment of course!
Pompey
oops, sorry, the rear sets are available from a forum member...

NICE!!!!! I too have an obsession with older Ducati's as well....currently sitting in the garage:
1988 Paso, 1992 851, 1993 888, 1996 900ss, 2001 996s, 2004 749s, 2008 1098s.....all of which have just thousands of dollars put into....funny, my wife thinks I have sickness :P) My 1125r Buell and RC51 look out of place next them.

Hi Pompey,
What's that hidden beneath the Beezumph letterbox fairing?
Where's the front indicators needed to pass the MOT?
I hear through the grapveine that your "new" 851 has a ST4S motor with "Proper" Desmoquatro heads, what cams are fitted and do you know what it's kicking out at the rear wheel?
One more point I personally don't like the Black number boards, even though they're period correct for the Endurance bikes, I think the 851/888's look best with White ones.

hey Steve, under the letterbox fairing is ... a modern 07 speed triple triumph with clip ons. looks and rides great although up for sale...
the front indicators are tucked in behind the air scoop holes in nose cone. Will make them more obvious for test.
I have a couple more things to do with the engine set up but at the moment want to just ride it. Going to custom an airbox, put on my full spag system once Steve B has made some links for the end cans and then slap it on a rolling road to set up. Left the engine standard st4s til it breaks!
Soon as we get a dry day lets meet up somewhere half way again! Cheers bud.

Pomps- what are the cans from? Looking at some higher level ones for mine when I get on with the motor and getting it back together
duc904red
The cans look like CiaGia moto /Thunderball racing cans to me
I happen to have the end caps for a set ,both inlet and outlets in the shed
CG used to supply ducati performance
