Maybe for trying to pass bikes off as something they aren't ( or cannot be proved ), and for trying to pass off bikes as mint when they are wrecked old track hacks. Not a salesman at a certain bike shop in Suffolk is he??

Outright fraud on a lot of lots. He originally claimed the Imola replica was genuine for example. Pretty dumb when the real ones are well known.

The Corsa was a fake, and most of the others were parts bin specials. Photos were 2 years old and some bikes had had saleable bits removed by the time they went to auction. He was a crook, pure and simple.

Crook or not, he seemed quite unhappy with the sales telling by he's body language. I was sitting just behind him and he was shaking his head many times. He even recieved a reprimand by he's wife during the preceedings. In my opinion most bikes were in a disappointing condition and the 851Strada was well overpaid - you can easily pick one up for half the money. Luckily there was the historic GP to watch which made the trip a bit more worth while...

He was Mega pissed off. Shaking his head big time when the "special" lots crossed the block. Got up and left early I noted; but was back towards the end. His wife and daughter stayed right through.

There were some stellar cars and record prices. The TRC was a record, jumping up in 100k bumps even towards the end. Unfortunately he was played into the last 1 million + Euro by the auctioneer and the bidder was a broker working for the guy writing the cheque !!

There were some great Porsche's there that's for sure.
