Markus was just reading through all the posts and seen that it was the bike from Nth Nowra.
I am devestated now I rang up about it but tied up with work and couldn't get down to see it and when I rang back the gent said sorry mate it's sold 🙁
glad to see it went to a good home and you will cheerish it , I am on the search for a sp3 , 4 OR 5 Would like to add them to the collection I have already.

Hey Waz, I am in Melbourne. The bike was advertised on-line in the Trading Post on the Thursday before MotoGP down at the Island. I just happened to speak to the owner 20 mins after the add was placed!! Early bird gets the worm...I flew to NSW the following weekend and bought it there and then. Stored since 1993, so needed some new parts and a good bath. Came up trumps. First ride last Saturday with a mate of mine who owns an SP4. We turned some heads. Great fun.

yeh markus when I spoke to the bloke he said he had some calls already from sydney and melb just kicking myself now
I have 2 851 tri colore kit bikes but are always on the look out for a SP if you or your mate with the sp4 ever consider selling get in touch.

thats photo of your bike and your mates looks great and i bet the heads spun not only turned you just don't see bikes like that everyday.
my 851's alsways get looks , if you think of it theres a magazine called OLD BIKE Australasia out at the newsagents on monday the 17th my 851 tri colore is part of a so of a story on duc's in that.
