Country Vic has some deserted roads that even our lads in blue never travel down, so we will prevail 😎

I agree! I think most of our laws are just a test to see if we can get around them! 😁

The regulations that they have put in place is actually a crude form of protectionism to protect the importers, which I'm sure if you had enough cash and time, you could fight and have overturned, as its a matter of fair trading. You'd have to argue that when the tariff system was dissembled it was to promote free trade, which is the right of individuals as well as business. Individuals need to be allowed to start small and work their way up to become a taxable concern. Glenn, Waldo, just been chatting to someone in the know. Glenn Purple plate for you. No problemo. Waldo, if you can prove you owned it in NZ for the statutory time, then it should be Ok, either that or Yellow plate for you. You are saying that the bike is a kit bike in that case. Maybe you could ring Simon at Simca bike painters in Allgas st Springwood. He use to be an importer. Be warned though. If your bike fails the first engineering inspection by law it must be crushed. If you have 16" wheels you really have a problem, no tires available. Nasty eh!
You may want to consider selling it off for spares. If that happens I know someone after the bump pad, and another after rear indicators.

Thanks for the info as I will be running the F1 down to the Moto GP in Oct for its first shake down 😁

Brad Black has serviced the bike as it was shipped from Customs directly to his shop; all has been meticulously check and is running superb 😄
