I never seen in photo this model, sixteen specimen they're a very little number, it's a more performance version? (with the same modifications of the 888 Sp4 S...carbon tank, curved radiator, and special engine?)

Hi Ube
The British magazine FastBikes tested one or two of these special SP3s in the early nineties. Some were built as race-ready Roche Replicas - with the same mods as the SP4S - but so far as I can tell, most of them started life as ordinary SP3s. They were modified in various ways to suit the preferences of their original owners.
The first of these bikes (SP3 number 001) belonged to the son of Italy's chief of Police in 1991. It was a standard SP3, but it was fitted with a more off-set top yoke (in order to quicken its steering), and the rear brake from the aforementioned Roche replica. The exhaust too was less restrictive.
Another belonged to Simon-le-Bon, the lead singer with Duran Duran. (See photo below). This bike differed from the above in that it was merely an SP3 with extra carbon and better breathing.
As to engine specification: Fast Bikes magazine admitted that it was hard to know the exact spec. of any of these bikes, since they were all different from one another. (..and even Foggy was kept in the dark in those early days of WSB!)
Check out many of the early nineties Fast Bikes magazines on eBay for further info. These Ducatis were featured regularly.
