Rumours has it that was a modification "invented" by the late Belgian importer Didier Mombaerts. The 851 Raymond Roche replica that was on display at Ducati Herzele had traces of the same conversion but the tube was removed again.

Hi,
There was a lad on here who bought an SP4 from John Fallon at Mdina's that had a large billet alloy brace from the C/cases to the swinging arm pivot.
The bike had belonged to a Doctor who had close contacts with the race team at Ducati at the time.

I think the 91 was fitted with a 210mm disc and for 92 it was further reduced to 190mm.

Someone please confirm.....

Hi Terry,

I've picked the bike up a few days before Herzele's anniversary event, so I had it for almost 2 days in the back of my Vivaro and guess what: I DIDN'T TAKE ONE SINGLE GOOD PICTURE OF IT!!! 😳 😡

The bike isn't 100% original, it doesn't have it's original engine but a lot of parts and the real engine came with it. It is now on display at it's new owners showroom. He bought it for 15000euro.

Hey Mike, any chance that laser cutting place could also make up some cast iron disc carriers? as I know you were also looking some made up a while back.

I did ask, but he can only work in two dimensions, so would have to cut them from the full thickness to get the offset.

MrR is working on something with someone near him.

Hi,
I tried quite hard to sort out the centres and was let down twice but...
Today I picked up a pair of brand new 'Clubman' Brembo racing discs supplied by the British Brembo importer.
These use genuine Brembo rotors, bobbins etc on British made alloy centres.
...and would you believe it the centres are exact copies of the original full floaters fitted to the 851/888SP's, apart from the fact that they've been hard anodised a gun metal grey colour, which's the usual colour that hard anodising comes in.
The gold coloured OEM centre belongs to Mikesps.
I've just looked at the pic's and the centres don't look that silver in the flesh, they're most deffinitely gun metal grey.
