Do you know of any differences between the St4 harness and the St2? I checked the part numbers for an 02' St2 and a 00' St4 and there is one digit difference between the numbers.
brad black wrotetps connector, all 2v bikes use a different smaller tps with different connector. same as your 999 one and all the linear tps. apart from that i don't think anything is in a different location.

Being that i have spoken to both of you guys on the phone regarding my project, i wanted to let you know that my dilemma is (still) that i can't get ahold of an ST4 front & rear harness.
ST4 rears are plentiful.
Can't get ST4 fronts anywhere.
I touched on this subject of resorting to an ST2 harness the other day with Marvin but did not go in depth because i was waiting on an answer from another salvage yard, but they said they don't have it.
I wanted to ask here the feasibility of using the ST2 harness & if the front/gauge/lights portion would work on the 888.
Is there is a particular year(s) to look for or avoid? Wiring in the TPS is zero work for me. The fitment and the possibility of larger pitfalls is what i am concerned about.
Has anyone actually done a complete ST2 harness with a 996 & P16 in an 851/888?
