The ones from the Gufero seal is the same thickness as the orginal, as to how it compares to the orginals lenght I don't know because mine was buggered!
Have you actually used the CR seal? Ive several and as I stated earlier have repaired several spags with zero issue of fitment.
It may be a case of SKF and any other manufacturer using a spring that is different to the CR one. That said, I will source both today, dissect and post results.
