The Season is upon us......WHat's coming out to play?

The front forks are the original Marzocchi M1. They were overhauled by a pro for me and work fine… on well paved roads. I needed to keep them for the original looks as this bike is really pristine.

I also had the OEM rear shock (Marzocchi PBS1R) professionally rebuilt but decided to store it and replaced it with an EMC (a very good brand we have here in France). That greatly increased confort in an otherwise very stiff bike

guillaume69 Cheers, G. They are nice and have quite a deep rumble. I was looking for a set of Termis, but these have grown on me and tbh I don’t really need to change. The alloy OEM A8/B8 cans are in a box in the loft away from harm!

Belts replaced, oil changed, so just need to put the bits and bobs back, and ready for it’s MOT. 😆

Nice. Well done - I’ll need to take a look at mine also soon. Apart from the snow at the weekend, it is starting to warm up here.

That said, I have been harbouring bad thoughts of reducing the number of wheels in the garage recently, but am paralysed by indecision..

mike I haven’t started it yet! Always a slightly nervous moment… nothing is hitting when I spin the wheel, but will still have fingers crossed… 🤞

The belts were 6 years old but pretty sure they would have lasted another season or two. So hopefully I will have a choice of freshly serviced steeds to ride for the summer 😎 ☀️

I feel a bit bad with everyone else’s bikes looking so nice - I’ve lately been commuting to university on mine. The 900 swapped 600ss is misfiring and I can’t figure out why (pesky bootlegged injection system I’m running) so the 888 is pressed into service.

Sure does make it run for the traffic light GP, though.

I can’t believe that it’s June already - I finally got around to getting my one tested for this year. It felt good to be back out on it again. 😃

We just got back from a weekend trip in Alsace in very good company. The SP2 went great!
