I recently was able to get a very interesting « portfolio » book on the 851/888. It’s basically the gathering of 25 period English speaking press articles.

This confirmed how much I prefer the 1989-1992 851 design over the rest (early 851 and 888). Plain shiny liquid red with the white frame, wheels and Cagiva scripts

Having read elsewhere that the yellow Agip stickers where not necessarily a factory thing on SPs and where added by dealers during bike prep, I decided to get rid of them on my SP2. As a matter of fact, I just don’t like this yellow stain on a perfectly red bike. I find Ohlins forks are just « yellow » enough.
Well, I absolutely love the result. Bike looks much more faster now! 😁 Here it is ready for next week end road trip.
