Glad you all saved this Forum with it's mass of knowledge, this is a priceless commodity for all 851/888 owners, and so easy to take for granted*, particularly as it's free. I hope site owner(s) and moderators will let us know if a donation is ever needed for continuation, and how and where to send it.

*as most of us have just discovered.

Thanks for the revival of our 851/888 community platform!!
I felt I lost a good old friend who I took for granted too long.
From now on I'll do better.

I'd like to chip in, but think a more structural approach is needed to prevent this happening again, say a subscription with a monthly contribution or so?

Please let us know if the donations link is set up to work and what funding you would like us to make, as well as frequency, to ensure the future of the site. What you started is a haven of knowledge and fabulous home for 851 and 888 obsessives.

On that note, it would also be good to let you know there are many of us who have used this site and would really like to offer our services if you need them to do various tasks on the site, if you would like the assistance. Just let us know.

Hi Marvin, without wanting to rock the boat, also had my donation refunded, that's at least 4 of us. Just to clarify: the site could benefit from donations couldn't it? - i'm a little confused, how can this be sorted out for the future? I only have preservation of the Forum's well-being at heart, as does i'm sure virtually every member.
