griff851 wrote43 years, you'd be the bloke I need to talk to then. Ducati twin Bevel late model clutch adjuster plastic nut at the lever. How hard and how much to make some. I can do the brass threaded bit. They are now unobtainable and I know distributors here and over there that would sell them if they had them.
Originally this would have been an injection moulded part. The tool/set up costs would kill the project unless you were prepared to make a few thousand minimum. Even then they would be expensive. Scan a good one and 3D print in Alumide.
Alumide is a blend of aluminum powder and polyamide powder, which allows metallic-looking, non-porous components to be machined easily and is resistant to high temperatures (130°C). Typical applications include parts for wind tunnel testing in the automotive industry, small production runs, jig manufacturing, education and illustrative models with a metallic appearance.
When you have your scan you can send the model to these people who will give you an instant quote.

There are also companies who will do the full scan and production just google a bit.
