Time has come for me to accept that I'm too old and knackered to ride sports bikes therefore I'll offer my bike for sale on here first;
1990 model Ducati 851 DS registered in 1991
One owner prior to myself, I have known the bike from new.
4800 miles with MOT & tax until August 2012
I had the bike recomissioned last August by a local specialist, that included;
Full service
Belts
Air/oil filter & spark plugs
Battery
All new fluids
New petrol pipes and filter
Front brake pads
Replaced fork leg (pitted) and both seals
Replaced rear brake cylinder which had seized
Pair of Dunlop Qualifiers
(I have the bill for over £1000 which I will pass to new owner)
Original service and handbook, service manual and 851 book
I managed to put a few small parks on the right hand fairing in the garage and it also has a slight split (I have included photos of these). But other than that, the bike is in very good condition and just needs riding.
