SP5 throttle body

Hi All,

I'm on my track-day-bike (low-budget) project, trying to use all spares collected while restoring my 2 851.
The project is based on 851 frame, 851 engine with 95mm cylinders, heads reworked to fit larger valves

I have a standard throttle body with wiring and a sp5 one (without wiring).

The std one can be easily fit, but I would like to use the SP5 one. Unfortunately I don't have the right wiring.
Is there something that can be easily adapted?
How can I run a SP5 throttle body?

(I'm very bad with all the electric stuff)

How much power do you expect from your 95mm bore 907cc motor?
The standard Green single injectors are capable of making 130 rwbhp, so unless you expect to make over 130 rwbhp they're more than up to the job.
Unless you're using some "HOT" cams? I doubt your motor will be pushing out more than 130 rwbhp.

After '92 the twin injectors per cylinder on the road bikes (even the HOT 888SPS and SP5) didn't actually need the extra injectors.
They were more about Homolgation rules for racing models than performance.
You won't gain any extra power or torque from using twin injectors per cylinder, until your motor's making over 130 rwbhp.
Even then it would be easier to fit single injectors that will flow more fuel/atomise it better, than going to the trouble of fitting a twin injector system per cylinder.

Indeed i do not expect more than 130hp....
My goal is to reach smthg above 120, using the bike and then eventually have additional tuning...

I will go for the std one!

it's not just hp - 748sps would go close to running out of time when revved high. it's more fuel per cycle, which is a combination and interaction of capacity, rpm and efficiency.

to run the dual injectors individually you need an eprom that runs dual and wiring from the ecu to all 4 injectors individually. the screw loc connector throttle bodies have two pins empty on single injector and 996. you need an 888sp, 916sp or 996sps throttle body wiring loom to run all the injectors in that case.

Eprom is not an issue since I have many to test, then i have both a P7 and a P8 ecu... my question was about which wiring to use and you gave me the needed info.
