Hi friends, I need to know a technical detail about a corse 926 crankshaft.
Also the corse crankshaft had the little oil hole on the seat key that in the strada shaft lubrificate the bearing of the free wheel?
In the 916/996 corse shaft this oil hole isn't opened
Mr.R
The hole that you mention is only there to lubricate the starter/sprag clutch bearing and to cool the alternator rotor on the road bikes.
If you're not using the starter/sprag clutch and only using the Corse small/narrow alternator rotor/stator charging system?
Then it's OK to blank it off on whatever crank that you're using.

Hi Steve,
what I'm asking is if a true 888/926 corse crankshaft had or not had the hole like the in the strada shaft.
Thanks
