Hi Guys, has anyone had the issue of weeping bleeder nipples coming from the threaded part on their brakes after the fluid has been changed and bled?
And before you mention it, yes I have gone over them again with a spanner to check for tightness.
Is there anything that people might put on the thread prior to stop this? I`m thinking thread tape is not a good idea.

Hi Mate,
Some after market bleed nipples actually have the wrong taper, also if you're using GP Billet Brembo's?
It's not unknown for the calipers to crack top to bottom along the thread if over tightened.

Hi Steve, can't say I have noticed any cracks, but I get the magnefying glass out and have a closer look. As for the nipples, ha ha, l don't know if they have been changed at all. It might pay to order some speed bleeders for the future.
