The only advantage of the Microtec unit is that programming it is user friendly. If you know how yo tweak 59-5As, they do the same thing. It is possible to use a Microtec to tune a bike on dyno (real-time and pretty straight-forward) and then edit the original MM 59/5A and flash the resulting map in It. Cheaper for the customer...
By the way, Microtec does NOT support offset ignition mapping. Not really antes issue, though.
