Stack tachometer help required

Wired in and cylinder qty set but nothing moves when the engine is running.
Servo drives the needle to zero and I can make it perform a self test etc but no life when running.
Standard rev counter works fine P8 ECU etc, any ideas welcomed?

Edit: running off pin 12 with a race loom.

Have you tried pin 23. My Guzzi Electronic tacho works on that pin on one bike (Why ?) but on pin 12 on another one.................... (Why ?).

Pin 23 on the race loom is one of the wires to the CAM (1 of two) sensors on in the alternator casing.

Pin 23 is for one of the timing sensor Yes , but my Guzzi Electronic Tacho only works on this pin (With the +/- connections)....................got to be worth a try ?.

Attached is what I believe all the pins on the P7/P8 computors are. Normally pin 12 is the Tach pickup for many bikes (But not my Guzzi Electronic tacho on my 996SPS engined SP4).
