I'm looking for recommendations from anyone in the North West who has had a fairing repaired. It is from an Sp2 and is made, or so I believe, from sheet material composite which is different to fibreglass.
What I'd like to know is if anyone has ever had the indicator mount built up again and how successful was this and what did the inside of the fairing look like after the repair. Mine has been ground down and now needs to built up prior to painting and repairs to the rest of the panel. Pics would be excellent.
I have the option of a new panel, (thanks Dudlington) but am just looking at all possibilities before splashing the cash.
I am based near Lancaster but don't mind a trip if people have had a positive experience with a particular firm.

I'm in the trade and had a similar damage to my superlight, I did build it back up and refinished it on both sides and it looked spot on, modern fillers adhere to most substrates well ( I used a carbon fibre enriched product) but if it was me and I had a new one available to me I would take the new panel and keep the old one for a just in case scenario

I had a very positive experience with Andrew Parnaby based at Tockwith near York. Bit of a way from you. He rapaired my 92 supersport fairing after a row with a pheasant! I will PM his no. If you struggle with alternatives.
