I am new to the forum and am trying to put my Sp 2 back on the road after some years in a garage. All the normal servicing is complete apart from the fuel pipes, which need changing tyres and an MOT. All in all so far so good. However due a low speed drop by a previous owner I am looking for a RH fairing panel. Summer is a passing and the usual suspects (e bay ) have not been of much use.
Failing that any recommendations for repairs in the North West of the UK gratefully received.
Heres hoping

Not sure what your after.............a secondhand panel that is so good on paint you just need to fit it ?. Or a new panel ? , or a straight panel with minor imperfections that you will need to paint ???. I have a few panels but none that do not require paint.

Thank you for the response. Ideally a panel thAt can be fitted straight away without paint, although I can appreciate this is an unlikely eventuality.
Failing that one in good condition that does not require repair and can be painted without further work.
On another note what if anyone out there could enlighten me as to what if any are the differences between the early belt drive 900 ss fairing and the one I am looking for. I have a mint set of 900s fairing panels still in the original Ducati packaging. If these will do the job problem solved.

900ss panels are completely different and why would you put them on an SP2 anyway...........it will devalue the bike big time.
I have a RH SP2 panel in super condition............but will need repaint as at some point someone added more black at the front (why ??).............. unfortunately it is packed up with millions of metres of packing tape , cardboard , strengthening pieces and I can,t find the original photo of it. I had it sent via the plane and it survived and I have not unpacked it yet.Alternatively I have a brand new RH panel still in the Ducati box for an 851.
