Tank reversion valve.
Supposed to be going to Collie on the 23rd to give her the first run since a full rebuild.
Any help would be appreciated.

It's just a check valve. If you can't find one, just buy a light pressure one and stick it in the return line. I think maybe Marvin might be able to help with the spring size.

Thanks for that. I've been loaned one to get the bike running so I can take her to Collie for a run ( weather permitting ) She's been in the shed 4 years un run after a full strip and rebuild. Going to get the reversion and outlets machined up there's a guy over here makes machining an art form. Will see how the look and will post the finished item.

So the bike will run without the reversion ( non return ) tank connector in the throttle side tank outlet ?

Quick release and non return valves can always be put in line. I do not see why it would not work.........anybody else ??.

Fuel pressure. The running pressure is a combination of the reversion valve and the pressure reg. And yes if you up the spring tension on the reversion valve you'll get more fuel pressure as 916 race boys discovered and saved a fortune buy not having to buy a variable pressure regulator. Which of coarse is not applicable to the early 851/888's which are adjustable. Somebody here probably knows the models they stopped fitting them to.
