Weber Marelli ECU testing in UK

Firstly i would like to say thank you for letting me join your forum.

I don't have a Ducati at the moment but have very fond memories of one.

I currently have a late 80's Bimota which has a Weber Marelli IAW041 ECU which I believe may be shared with some 851/888 models, and i was hoping someone on your forum may have used an ECU testing company in the UK and could share their details with me.

Hi Phil - you're in good company - I have a DB2 😄

The 907ie, 851's and early 888's have a IAW043 P7 ECU, rather than the IAW041 that you're interested in. I'm not clear of the difference, but I see at least one reference suggesting that they are not directly compatible..

Fortunately/unfortunately I've not yet had cause to make use of any ECU testing companies out there. Good luck

When I had a mates P8 chuck a wobbly, I took it to a stereo repair guy who went over it with an oscilloscope, he just replaced the dodgy bits.
