My boy is 14 and currently in Las Vegas at a international men’s gymnastics competition.
It’s an opportunity of a life time to see some amazing gymnasts and see a part of the world in real life that he’s only seen on TV and movies.
So what does he report back home? The amazing gymnasts? No. Las Vegas at night? No. The people or the food? No.
He got his picture taken with a stripper! And I bet he snuck in a nuzzle. Not sure if it’s an actual stripper or a show girl, but in his mind she was a stripper.
Now as a father i’m not supposed praise this sort of behaviour, but as a bloke, it’s a little bit “way to go mate”.
So should I pat him on the back when he returns or read the riot act and make him ride the TGB scooter? Tough call given all the political correctness going on and the issues of the sexualisation of women big at the moment.
The best I got when I visited the Is when I was 14, was me and Micky Mouse!

He came 21st out of 53. Not too bloody bad considering he's level 8 competing level 9 against guys from all over the US and some other countries. Only took 11 years training. A few more and he'll be ready to give the Russians and Japanese a tickle up.

Given the climate in this Country, and all of the "do-gooders" who are trying to save us from ourselves, I would be really surprised if he even got so much as a whiff of it! One would have to be really stupid to mess with a minor, even in Vegas. Doesn't matter how willing he was.

Could be on the money there. We got the picture today. Turns out he used the term stripper to get the wife going, it worked. 😄 A couple of girls dressed as show girls at a shopping complex. My wife thinks one of them was transitioning from a guy to girl. 😄 he seems to be pretty happy about it, we'll find out if being a foreign shortish guy has any advantages when he get home this week. He can pour on the charm, which he didn't get from me.
Do- gooder's, fun spoilers, ruin everything. A good friend of ours is a pretty good Barrister, he recently had an OHS brief and had to digest the latest volume of OHS law. It seems that in order to comply with all of the law, no manufacturing business could competitively turn a profit. He commented that it is impossible to legislate against idiots, so why does a community as whole have to suffer. I pointed out that perhaps like the recent gay marriage thing, it was all about lawyers securing work. He didn't disagree, and replied you have to love do-gooders.
I blame the poms for not assassinating Mary Whitehouse when they had the chance. 😄
