Lowering footpegs

Just wondering if there's adapter plates or similar on the market to lower the 888 footpegs? Any advice on this appreciated.

Has anyone actually tried these? I've often been tempted to try them on my SP3.

Have a set on my 851. Works great: rock solid and easy to adjust up, down, forward and backward.

This looks like just what I'm after, What length did you go for? 30mm OK??

I have the shortest 23 mm arms, which make a huge difference but still look good and work with the levers. Think the 30 mm might be too much.

Hi mate, Hopefully the 30mm will be ok because ive just received mine in the post, Great to here you find a difference with the 23mm, I'm not in to much of a rush to fit them at the moment.

Did you get round to fitting the adapters yet? I'm interested in how much difference they make (and whether 30mm is in fact "too much").

Hey mate, Yes have them fitted, 30mm is perfect but that's as far as you came go imho without having issues, Its made the bike a different machine for me to site on now, Ive the brake pedal adjusted to the max without modifying anything

For sure, Only 48, hgv mechanic, Had 2 lower back opps that's left me with numb calf muscle and part of my foot numb, surly I could have got these low pegs on the nhs 😁 😁 main reason I shifted to the streetfighter, Couldn't resist when the 888 came up for sale 😁

Thanks for that, think I'll try a set. They look better than the rubber-covered efforts that are OEM!

Stig - could well be! I'm a fair bit older than Jack888 and I don't fold as well as I used to... Thinking of swapping my 1198S for a Streetfighter (or, dare I say it on this Forum, a KTM Superduke 1290R...). Hopefully I'll never sell the SP3 though.

I sold the 06 999s which I luved to buy the streetfighter, You certainly wont be disappointed with one, Its the kind of bike you would never get bored of that's for sure, I test rode the superduke 1290 and luved it in every way but I just couldn't buy it over the streetfighter, Cant resist not to show a photo
