steering damper

Just looking for advice on which is the best way to go for a steering damper and fitting kit??, Would want it to be fitted to the right side helmet lock mount, Cheers

This feels like a trick question but i'm bored so i'll risk it........
I'm not sure where your helmet lock is but my steering damper mounts in the factory position on the RS of my frame and attaches to the right fork. I know there are other ones that attach to the triple clamp and frame too.

Why do you want it on the helmet lock?
Mine is on the left side
An ohlins with clamps to the frame and fork tube.

Hey mate, Only reason I wanted it on the helmet lock was to hide the ugly lock bracket, Hate the look of the thing, I had put a wanted add for a helmet lock but cant seem to get my hands on one

I think I might have a helmet lock but without the key, so do you just want it for cosmetic reasons? Are they all the same? I can check and upload a picture if it's of any use to you?

Sorry for the delay, been busy! I have this if it's any use? No key but looks like the lock is attached with screws so maybe a locksmith could sort it to use your key? OK for cosmetic use to cover the bracket?

This came in a job lot of small parts so I don't know the specific bike it was off if there are any differences.
