Hi Yves,
Not that much at the moment, prices have dropped by around 25% since the summer.
I think you'd be very lucky to get £7,500 IMHO.
One of the main items on the BBC news is the amount of job losses today!
Very few people are buying bikes, new bikes are being sold with 0% finance over 3 1/2 years...
Now isn't the time to sell your classic Ducati in the UK, unless your prepared to sell it cheap.

I used to be the operations manager for the ducati importer in Malaysia, and also owned an SP3, cant recall the number, somewhere in the 200's.

But there were a lot of SP3's imported there.
I recall at least 8-10 that I would regularly service, and there were very few superbikes in the country at that time 1996-1998 due to huge import duty's.

I'm sure some of the owners did not realise how special thier bike were and were going to be.
I certainly did.

The business also had an SP4 that had never ever been started, 1 km on it.
It sat in a window and still had the plates spot welded into the exhausts.

I'm sure it is still owned by the same man

Yes, I heard that there were 6 or 8 SP3s brought in, and then possibly a further two for the WSB round. I know that at least 7 of them are still around.
They are not appreciated by many people. New and fast is best here!

Import duty is 120%, so not many big bike sales these days.

The SP4 is still in the shop, still unstarted and still not for sale. It looks pretty rough now with scratches, broken indicators and a missing SP4 plaque.

A real shame, it could be in perfect condition if only they took care.

I asked to buy before I left.
and of course the answer was no.

It disappoints me so much when something so special just goes to waste.
