Wanted Headstock shells for frame

Does anyone have of know where I can purchase a couple of sets of the bearing shells that go into the frame for the 851/888 series bikes. Are they any different to other Ducati models , Monster , 900SS , 750 SS , 600 SS etc ?

Those aren't anything out of the ordinary for Ducati steering head bearings. When you say shells, are you looking for just the outer race? The one that's still there should have a p/n on it, and most likely could be purchased separately from a bearing supply shop.

Yep. all over EBAY.. a new bearing set for 50 EUR..

Alternatively remove them before sand blasting and painting... 😏
