I've been noticing slightly more engine vibration when I'm leaning the bike over through a turn. It dosen't have to be much. Slightly off axis in either direction. Very minimal difference, but noticeable to me. I'm wondering if this is a sign of the main bearings developing play or something like that? Cringing at the thought! :/

My take on it. Due to gyroscopic procession, you would feel it as you were leaning over but once you become steady at that angle it would stop. Probably not mains, more likely other rotating parts like flywheel, alternator or clutch. Check the oil for metal anyway.

Check wheel balance!
Tire out of round.
Or front rotor warp...
Just to make sure that's covered.

Might not be relevant to your troubles but I noticed a new vibration (only while leaning over) on my Super Duke after I switched out my front sprocket. I changed my stock, rubber damped 17T for a standard 16T without rubber. I double checked my chain, rear sprocket and chain tension but everything looked good so I decided to live with it.
Just a thought but you might want to check your sprockets and chain?

Check the bearing in the left side cover, I had a similar feeling and found that to be the source.
Good luck!
