After an oil/filter change, belt change, coolant flush/refill, I began to install the bodywork and tank. After installing the pump and new submersible lines, she fired right up without hesitation. Just put on a new chain the other day and got the fuel cap installed today with the vent line. It is beyond satisfying seeing the bike come back to life.

Pop in the battery I got in the other day (one in the bike is showing an error when on the trickle charger), bleed brakes and mount up remainder of bodywork and she will be finished.

That looks lovely, you must be very satisfied - has it been 3 years off the road whilst other life gets in the way? I am just getting my 93 Strada sorted to be reliable enough to ride a lot next summer and hope to start a mild restoration next autumn, but I don't think I could ever get it up to that standard. Working on an 888 is just so pleasantly addictive though.

Beautiful!!! Well done! She looks amazing all polished up. How are you liking that rear sprocket? I considered going with one of those, but I have several Renthal Ultra-Lights to get through first...lol.
