dudlington Just bought this but I can,t seem to find any info on it. Can anyone help ??. Rear blocks are for a dia 30mm rear spindle.
DeltaT all I can find is this guy selling one earlier this year, and asking 1500 for it. http://www.daidegasforum.com/forum/ducati/632297-smantello-special-supertwin-telaio-traliccio-titanio.html

nine16 I know it's just a photo, but are you sure about that rear axle? Doesn't look that big (30mm).

dudlington Yes the axle diameter can vary up to 30mm in diameter using spacers to suit. Adjuster blocks are Carbon. I will weigh the part today as a single part so we can all compare. Stiffness for sure is more but I cannot measure. The other advantages over the standard swinging arm set up as I see are ............The blocks at the front are CNC machined so probably do not suffer the cracks that can occur when you tighten the bolts for the swinging arm pivot. The rear CNC blocks are to accommodate a large variation in axle diameters with larger surface areas for the spacers. Adjusters are forward of the wheel so wheel changing would be quicker. Mounting points for the suspension loop seem stronger , hole for exhaust is larger...............and it look way cooler than standard. It would be nice to know who or why it was built............????

dudlington Thanks for the info. The weight of the swinging arm including the adjuster bolts is 3.72 Kg.
